Magnetic rubber

Magnetic rubber is flexible anisotropic magnetic material made of rubber base plastic and strontium ferrite powder.  Compared to magnetic sheet, magnetic rubber is more flexible, has better magnetic properties and higher working temperature. Magnetic rubber is made in two executions - Flexo 150 and Flexo 180, both types are non-toxic and comply with the standard EN 71/3 with regard to migration of heavy metals. Magnetization of magnetic rubber is possible in two ways: one-side multipolar and axial magnetization. When magnetizing the material axially, the maximum width is 440 mm. When magnetizing the magnetic rubber one-side multipolarly, it is possible to increase the holding force applying a steel backing plate on the non-magnetic side. This way it is possible to increase the holding force by 2 - 3 times. Magnetic rubber can be machined using standard hand-tools - saw, cut, stamp, drill, etc.
