Flat pot magnets, Neodymium

Pot magnets with neodymium magnetic core have excellent holding force thanks to use of anisotropic neodymium (NdFeB) magnets. The maximum working temperature of these types is up to +80°C, steel body is galvanized. These types are used in applications where high holding force and small dimesions are required.

Flat pot magnets with neodymium magnetic core are available in the following executions:

• single flat
• with screwed bush
• with bore and 90° counterbore
• with threaded neck
• with internal thread

   

There is a special group of neodymium based pot magnets, which are special rubber (SANTOPRENE) coated. These types have high holding force and are especially suitable for applications, where the contact surface must be protected against scratching (laquered, chromated surfaces, etc.). SANTOPRENE coated pot magnets are also very good for mobile applications, because the friction coefficient between the metal surface and the pot magnet is much higher than with a standard pot magnet. SANTOPRENE has also lower magnetic field absorption coefficient than standard rubber, so the holding force loss is not so high. Maximum working temperature of SANTOPRENE coated systems is up to +60°C.
