Product description
The special DIMET EMGR series of electromagnets is designed for handling steel sheet coils and wire rod coils lifted at their facing (vertical) surface. A heat-resistant version for hot loads up to 650 °C is also available.

Main design advantages EMGR
- Welded housing – The rugged welded housing is designed for harsh operating conditions. It features reinforced impact protection of the double terminal boxes and a large heat transfer area.
- Coil material – High-quality wire with improved insulation greatly reduces the risk of interturn short circuits. The electromagnet is more reliable and easy to repair – in the event of failure only the coil needs to be rewound.
- Heat-insulating seal – Maintains the optimum coil temperature when handling loads up to 650 °C and ensures stable lifting capacity.
- High-quality casting compound – Prevents electrical breakdown between the coil wire and the housing and reduces coil heating.
- Reinforced armour plate – Reliably protects the coil and considerably extends the service life of the electromagnet. The pressure bars are made of 09G2S steel with increased strength and wear resistance.
