Product description

The special DIMET EMGT series of electromagnets is designed for handling large-diameter pipes. Special pole shoes increase the contact area with the load and follow the shape of the pipes, which increases the performance of the electromagnet. It performs best when used on lifting beams. A heat-resistant version for hot loads up to 650 °C is also available.

Main design advantages EMGT

1. Welded housing – The rugged welded housing is designed for harsh operating conditions. It features reinforced impact protection of the double terminal boxes and a large heat transfer area.
2. Coil material – High-quality wire with improved insulation greatly reduces the risk of interturn short circuits. The electromagnet is more reliable and easy to repair – in the event of failure only the coil needs to be rewound.
3. Heat-insulating seal – Maintains the optimum coil temperature when handling loads up to 650 °C and ensures stable lifting capacity.
4. High-quality casting compound – Prevents electrical breakdown between the coil wire and the housing and reduces coil heating.
5. Reinforced armour plate – Reliably protects the coil and considerably extends the service life of the electromagnet. The pressure bars are made of 09G2S steel with increased strength and wear resistance.
