Product description
Overband magnetic separators with a permanent magnetic system are mainly used for the separation of ferromagnetic impurities from conveyor belts. They are suspended above a conveyor belt that transports the raw material. The role of belt separators is to remove ferromagnetic impurities from the raw material to prevent damage or destruction of other technological equipment.
All systems are equipped with a conveyor tensioning device, the conveyor belts are made of synthetic rubber. The electrical connection of the systems is 3x400 V, 50 Hz with IP54 protection (IP65 is available on request).
On request, it is also possible to supply special systems with an additional (transport) magnetic pole. This arrangement of the magnetic field allows the release of the material, which is held on the magnet by trapped ferromagnetic impurities of larger dimensions - the transport pole rotates the ferromagnetic object and thus the other material is released back to the conveyor belt. These systems can only be installed in a longitudinal position above the conveyor belt.
