The drum magnets are structurally composed of a half-cylindrical permanent magnet and a non-magnetic drum. The magnet located inside the drum is static and a drum rotates around it, on which the raw material falls. The magnetic sector of the drum must be located towards the material flow. As the drum rotates, the ferromagnetic particles are trapped in the magnetic sector and carried by the rotating drum towards the non-magnetic one, where they subsequently fall into the collecting vessel or another conveyor belt due to their own weight.

The drum magnets with cover have their own drive and box, where the magnet itself is located. In these devices, a raw material inlet and outlets for pure raw material and ferromagnetic waste are already created. The system is optimized for maximum separation efficiency. Thanks to these features, these systems can be very easily and quickly integrated into existing transport systems.

The tables show the basic types with a ferrite magnetic system. For types with a neodymium magnet, the code "/ 01" is added after the order number of the respective type. The capacitance values of the magnetic system are informative.
